Libby & Jamie – A Winter Session in Delamere Forest
Some love stories unfold slowly, quietly—like something you almost miss, until suddenly, it’s everything.
Libby and Jamie’s story began on the campus where they both worked. What they didn’t realise at first was that they had already crossed paths years earlier, as students at the very same place. Call it fate, or just beautifully timed coincidence, but from the moment they started working together, there was a spark. Something unspoken lingered between them for a couple of weeks—until one slightly tipsy confession changed everything. And the rest, as they say, is history 🤍

When they reached out for a session, I knew I wanted to reflect not just their connection, but the warmth, joy and fun they naturally share. They're one of those couples who can go from fits of laughter to the softest, most quiet kind of intimacy in a heartbeat. We chose Delamere Forest for their shoot—one of my favourite spots not too far from the Wirral. It was a cloudy Winter evening, the kind where the light is soft and gentle, and the forest feels almost magical. We wandered through the trees, laughing, running, pausing to breathe each other in. There were no grand poses or forced smiles—just the two of them, as they are. Honest. Playful. Madly in love.

These are the kinds of sessions I live for. The ones that feel less like work, and more like witnessing something real and rare.
If you’re planning your own couple session (or just fancy running around the woods with your favourite person while I tag along with my camera), get in touch—I’d love to tell your story too.
